The Service

We are pleased to be able to offer a new service to organisations that are facing cuts in funding and are reducing their staff numbers, and need to help with managing the day to day finances of the organisation.

For many organisations the areas that are facing the most cuts are the management and the accounts or finance teams. Whilst your staff numbers may be reducing in your accounts department the need for up to date and accurate financial information is increasingly important, especially if you are having to manage your cash flow carefully and also provide regular updates to your board about  progress against income targets.

In order to respond to the needs of organisations that no longer have accounts staff, we are offering our new finance service. The service has two levels.

Finance Essentials

This includes undertaking all your organisation’s book-keeping requirements, including inputting of purchase invoices, raising sales invoices, processing bank payments and receipts, bank reconciliations, petty cash transactions, and producing standard reports from your existing system.

Finance Plus

This includes all of the Finance Essential services, plus detailed management accounts showing actual income expenditure against budget, information on variances and cash flow forecasts.

How does the service work?

Each organisation receives a fixed amount of support each week, month or quarter, based on their accounting and book-keeping needs. We send staff to your premises to complete the work using your existing systems, or we complete the work in our offices and return it to you with the up to date management reports.
Depending on the size of your organisation that could vary from one or more days a week, to a few hours every quarter. We will confirm in advance the cost and agreed hours of our Finance Essentials and Finance Plus service, so you can budget for this.

Accounts Plus

These services can also be used in conjunction with or independently from our Accounts Plus services, which provides email and telephone advice on finance issues. This is ideal where you need help with queries, such as how to treat an item for VAT, to check payroll issues or to get support with reviewing a project budget.
